Review of the Mature Sun:

Read all about it! E'ning Standard read all about it! Paper sir? Paper sir?

Nice man George newsagent on the corner, never any richer, but never any poorer. Does a nice line in rough Shag. He also has a good selection of magazines...Beano, Bunty and Bare Arsed Bitches Monthly. Now though he's got a few new additions to the newspaper shelf. The Ebony Exchange, The Teen Star, The Pantyhose Enquirer. You notice the smart glossy cover and grab a copy of The Mature Sun that's grabbed your eye, but before you have chance to check it out Mrs Miggins walks into the shop. You slap your coins on the counter and run out before she's seen you or your reading material. You rush home to <cough> read </cough> your paper. Will you be impressed, or will you be dissapointed...

Well if your after tonnes and tonnes of material then you'll be impressed. If, however, you prefer quality over quantity then it's more of a mixed bag (A bit like Calista Flockhart. Your head says no but your nads say yes) .At first the setup seems to be similar to Allsiteaccess, 15 sites grouped together under one password. Only its not quite up to the same standards as ASA. I'm not going to list all the sites but there's the usual Teen, Mature, Ebony, Pantyhose etc; but with a few unusual items I'll mention later. All are presented in a tabloid newspaper style.

I went for The Mature Sun. I'm desperate to find a good mature site that has some decent looking forty year olds on it, rather than the glut of fat sixty year old Russian peasant women that seems to be filling the web at the moment which really make you wonder what Anna will look like in 40 years time. Looking at the 'cover' things seem promising, adorned with reasonably beautiful matures, but the key thing is they are slim. No women here who would find the Michillin Man a bit lightweight .Inside the layout follows the same 'tabloid' theme, complete with lousy "Increase your penis" ads, but theres only two at the bottom of the page and no pop-ups, so things aren't too bad on that front.

One thing that I did notice straight away was the url in the address bar "membershangout.com" and the fact that title on the page read 'Ebony Examiner' not 'Mature Sun'. In fact after using the site for a while I got the impression that rather than being 15 sites, its actually one big site with 15 entrances all leading to the same room. Not the end of the world, but you do feel a bit let down as the 'All Site Access' sites do a good job of giving the impression of being separate from each other.

Basically its divided up into three sections Photos, Mpg's and Streaming, each of which is subdivided into Teen, Mature, Ebony etc;. First up lets have a look at the photo's, and what a disappointing batch it is. There's nothing (that I have so far found) above 640x480,which in this day and age is downright disgraceful and just a waste of hard disk space. There's no point the owners of the site even bothering to store this material as no-one will want it, especially as some of it isn't even good quality even at that poor resolution. The photosets are numbered rather than named, and don't appear to be in any sequence (set 850 appears after set 234),so I can only guess that the set numbers cover all the sites as there are definitely not 1850 photosets in the mature section. Also there seems to have been no thought put into the celeb section. There's 64 pages with links to 30 sets on each page, but there's no names attached to any of the sets, so browsing through you struggle to tell who's who. Even if you venture into the various pages its often a struggle, as some of the photo's where taken early in a stars career and they look nothing like they do now. There's also a 'show us yours' section where members can post pics of their wives/girlfriends, although predictably there's a lot of photo's of well known models being posted.

Things definitely look up in the MPG's section which is the sites strongest feature. Not the best quality movies I've ever seen, but still pretty good quality. All the movie sets are split up into 2 minute clips, but there isn't an option to download the entire movie, although that's no great loss as you can just put them into the play list in Media Player. Some of them are true movies, while others are just videos of photoshoots. Things go a bit pear shaped in the celeb category (again) as there are approximately 400 movie sets but only four or five of them actually contain any movies, the rest of them have been infested by a plague of red 'X's.

The streaming section is quite simply the mpg's from the mpg section streamed to your screen, so there's no different material to be found here. But one really irritating feature is that the streaming is done via a java script program that doesn't allow you to view the movie full screen. This is something becomes even more irritating in the Story section. This bit is something of a novelty which I would love to see done properly on another site. Rather than having pages and pages of text, or hours of audio they've actually video taped women reading the stories. Unfortunately none of these films are available for download and can only be watched as a stream.
