Review of Stoner Cuties:
I'm glad I'm not taking my first cue to the quality of this place based on the curvaceously mispelled yellow font proclaiming AWSOME HARDCORE VIDEO. Nobody's perfect. Let the content speak for itself, I say.
Let me take you through the front/join page and we'll work our way through. Today's a good day for an expose on this joint, because it is a textbook example of what is good in an amateur site trying to stand toe-toe with the "deeper pockets" sites and competing quite well.
"Best Amateur Erotica In The World". Hyperbole is always expected on the join page, but that doesn't mean there's ever a good excuse for it. I always feel you have a lot better chance advertising things about your site that are true and not far-fetched. Of course, the meal you're fed here in no way ranks among the "Best...In The World" quite yet, but I guess you can't totally blame a guy for trying.
Stoner Cuties pages are fairly navigable to a point, I mean it's all laid out for you, top-to-bottom, as you make your way down the update archive. Maybe a little more creative link titles instead of by-date listing would be better, and it's not the prettiest place in the world, but the webmaster updates extremely frequently (kudos there). If you can look past the red (photos) and purple-hued (video) links and just head to the action, you'll be just fine. Maybe some people might be down with the flowery color-coded thing. Not me...but again, just asthetics, right? Let's see what we get before passing judgement.
The main thing this site has going on here is the video quality. It was erroneoulsy reported here recently that the video was terrible ("sucks ass", I believe). This is not true. I am embarrased to say that it was a codec problem that I dropped the ball on. This is high qaulity video being put out by one man who is the whole crew here. I can say, quite unreservedly, that it is very good, and PornLiving offers its apologies because of this technical oversight on my part. These movies looks very good all the way up to and at full screen mode. They're not the slickest video presentations I've ever seen, but it has that unspoiled touch that a good amateur site needs to have. You need to have the DivX codec 5 installed (which I have now!), and I am happy to correct the previous report that you may have read earlier. By the way, you get about 50 videos, maybe not the most amount of content in the world, but at the rate this guy is going I would expect a lot more (maybe even right now). The models look like they're having a good time, and I am glad I can now see them better ;)
At a glance I would say a couple thousand pics, which, like the videos, are always updated at a good clip. Clarity is not an issue here as the stoner cuties seem to have fun being put through the paces. Most of them are very skinny, so if you're in to the young thin girls, this is the place. It's obvious that the head honcho is putting great care to get good shots and be creative, and you get more than enough pics with imminent updates to suit your fancies.
I do take issue with the site's name (I have had this issue with other places). Why is it called "Stoner Cuties"? I would like to know, not just speculate here. The personality aspect of the site is lacking and that problem could be fixed in an afternoon maybe. Maybe a little more info about the girls, or something. Just sort of a "blah" in that category. Time to break out the niche-carving tools on this aspect I feel.
But I think it's a safe bet that this guy's not going to let you down. If his work ethic maintains at the rate it's going, and the design is worked over a bit, I think this place will definitely be one to watch.
