| Review of Private:
It's not a job to review for pornliving, it's a privelige. I contacted private.com 5 days before this review to ask for access to review their site. Finally the pass came and I now get to be the judge of a site run by one of the oldest and most hardcore porn organisations in the world.
Private started out in 1965 and today they are NASDAQ listed, this the first site I have come across that has been NASDAQ listed, I think this is a pretty big deal. This also means that we are dealing with the heavy guys. For financial and other info you can go to prvt.com, I'm not gonna much into it, I'll just establish that we are dealing with a heavy weight company so we should also expect more of the site.
Everything at private.com is ofcourse exclusive, they have absolutely no need to buy or lease content from others. Everything you find here is exclusive to private.com.
The site is definately hard to get an overview of because they offer tons of content and various categorys for your entertainment. This encludes games, complete video feeds (not leased, rare thing), live shows with a real chance of interacting at great speed for broadband users. Almost all their magazines scanned and put online for you, model database.... well the list goes on. Let's take it step by step.
I'm from Denmark, so naturally I wanted to find some photos of Katja Kean. I did this by going into the gallery section and chose to browse by models. Sure enough I got the names of all videos she has appeared in and the magazines. With this info I went to the magazines section and look her up in the correct issue numbers.
*The pictures from the magazines are scanned from the magazines but the stories are not readable because it's too small.
After this I decided to browse through their photoset archive to check out the quality and how much there was. Well I found tons of hardcore pictures, in this section alone I found 576 photo sessions.
A great feature here is the ability to view the sessions as slideshows (only for IE users). You simply click the top link for slideshow and you don't have to do anything but sit back and enjoy. You can even set the timer for the slides. Also, while the slideshow is running you constantly have 7 other thumbnails of girls to the right so you can quickly move on to another slideshow, needless to say I enjoyed this a lot as it ran very smoot, this is probably mostly for broadband users though.
If you like to read the stories in the Private magazine, don't think they forgot about you. In the gallery section you can go in to the photo stories section and browse through 150 photo sessions with belongin stories.

Centerfolds, in the spotlight and backstage.
After this I decided to go look at private magazines. Like I said it looks like almost a complete collection of Private magazines online.
They feature the following magazines online and lots to choose from with each magazine:
Private, Pirate, Triple X, Sex and Special Editions
It's impossible to make an estimate of how much photo material there is here because it adds ups to many many thousands, it's a lot, let's leave it at that. The way you go through the magazines is kind
annoying though and I really think this feature should be cut out to just show off the picture sets of each mag edition. The way it works now with scanned pages get annoying really fast.
NOW! It was time for this reviewer to have some fun, I was gonna check out a liveshow that for once wasn't leased and overrun by hundreds of other users from other sites.
This was without a doubt the best liveshow experience on the net I have had. There was a nice girl masturbating when I came in. I logged on as Pornliving, and a quick moan from the girl confirmed that this was without a doubt LIVE. We were about 8-9 watching the show and chatting with her (I got her to shout Pornliving several times, hehe great PR!). The quality was great, it was fluid and the interaction with the girl was outstanding, great experience.
All the pictures at private.com are of great quality, they are sharp and very detailed and they catch some great still of actions, it's all a pleasure to watch. The pictures vary in sizes but never to really small. It's like you've seen all the sets before though if you have watched just a little porn (like I have). I recognized a BUNCH of the girls and picture sets and this is really what makes private.com un-interesting in the end.
The full length videos was a bit disappointing compared to that liveshow, even for for highest bandwidth feed the size was small though quite fluid, I hope they might make a better feed available in time. Right now the video feeds are simply below average, yes I would say poor in quality hardly worth mentioning (but I still did).

Conclusion:
Of course Private is a huge company and their page does reflect it. However it's a lot of old content that has circled the net 3-4 times already. Plus if you are a fan of the films or the mags you will have seem almost all the models before (male as well as the girls) and I don't blame you if a yawn would sneak in. Still they have a lot of it, they make it themselves and the liveshow is awesome ;)
