| Review of Lez B Teens:
Lets be friends. Lets be teens. Lezbteens? Hell yeah. You know what the world needs is more teen girls getting into each other. You know how girls go crazy in college. That is what we need more of, not just today but every day of existence! I never was a huge lesbo fan, but lately it is more interesting to me than it ever was. I must be going through a stage, but hey, that made me even happier to take a look at Lezbteens, a site with a focus on lesbian teen girls!
Ok, so the theme here is a little weak. I know I always say I like dual themes, because they are unique. Well, this has been outdone, so I consider it weak. It can be fun at times, and sure there are fans of this, but for the most part, it could be spiced up a little bit with a bit of a stronger theme. How, you might ask? Well, throw the foot thing in there lets say. This network is already all about the feet and half the site has some light foot fetish. So why not call it Feet Eatin' Teens, and be done with it? You know what, that is a really catchy name, I didn't know I had that in me. I'm getting way off target here. Basically, this is all about teen girls who like other teen girls!
When you first sign into Lez B Teens, you are given a pretty weak front page. The top of it is ok, showing the most recent picture and movie updates. The upcoming updates are then shown. Now is where it gets crappy. The latest news is a waste, and then we just have banners all over the place. Banners here, banners there, banners everwhere. Some of these are for the actual bonus content on the site. Some are for sites that are done by these folks but not on the network. Then there is one of the most disorganized, useless portions of a site I've ever seen. It has one thumbnail for a site, then links to its different galleries. Its like the page you get when you go to a free TGP or something. What a mess. Someone needs to give these people a bigtime lesson in designing a frontpage for a site. Nobody gives a shit about half the stuff on here, and the other half is just as useless. This is one of those front pages that you just automatically skip over in most cases. The worst part is, that the design here just really drags everything else down as well.
The pictures are the bulkier section here. Now, once you get past that horrid front page, everything else is pretty acceptable. Same here, when you get to the pictures page, you are given a page of all of the models on the site. They are of course doubled up as two girls here, since it is a lesbo site. Now, unlike other sites on this network, most of the girls only have one set of content. When you select your models, you are given a page of galleries. Most of the time the galleries are split up into two or three, but they are taken from the same series. This is kind of useless and confusing I think. I'm sure they had their reasons for doing it, but that doesn't mean I have to like it. The thumbnailling here is decent, giving you a good idea of the girls all around. I think maybe they should be bigger on the front pictures page, and smaller in the actual galleries, but I am being nitpicky. Overall its a nice setup package. Oh, and did I mention you can download zip files of the entire set? That is where its at!
I think the quality might be a slight step down from what I've seen elsewhere on the network. While some of these pictures looked good, others had a slight grain to them. They actually looked like resized newspaper color pictures, if that makes any sense to you. Needless to say, I was not a huge fan. I will say that some sets were better than others. The pictures here were 768 x 1024 pixels and I think part of the problem with the quality was making them all try to fit into that template. Maybe I'm wrong, but you have a far from perfect quality here.
Speaking of far from perfect, the videos are exactly that. These are WMV videos, and they are all segmented with no options as far as either video type or segmentation go. And most of the videos fall into the 600-800k range, as they vary. But the one constant is that you do not get a clear screen here. The videos are very pixelated and odd looking. I've seen videos in this quality range look ten times better than these, so something is definately off. No matter what that is, this is definately not a site for video fans.
The girls here on Lez B Teens are cute younger girls. What I like about this site, and this network, is that they really don't push the whole teen thing on you. They don't try to cutesy up their girls, give them teddy bears and shit like that. They look younger, but thats that. They are mostly all good looking girls, but the other issues hold them back. The action here is typical girl on girl stuff, with some sets having three or more girls. Pretty hot stuff, but at the same time nothing really all that new. It does work good for a lesbian site though, and that theme is strictly adhered to and I admire them for that.
At the time of review, there were 130 picture sets and 18 video sets. This is a nice amount of content, and the site is updated weekly and usually more often than that. The network is vast, and contains sites with a lot more targeted and focused stuff than this. Lets look at that now.
The network here includes: True Tere, Pornwipes, Kylieteen, Teen Travels, Ana Fey, Dasha Markova, Tabatha Fey, Ivy Summer, Harmony Finn, Teen Foot Club, Piper Fawn, Lez B Teens, Bare Bree, Cute Girl Feet, BFT Girls, and Stormy Friday. This is a large amount of sites, you have varying levels of quality from good to not so good. Still, a lot of sites to be had here.
Conclusion
This site is a perfect example of what works in some contexts doesn't work in others. Some of the network sites here, with focused foot content, and focused single model stuff, can pull off a good site with this design. But here, with just plain lesbian as the theme, it kind of falters a little bit. The network might be appealing, and this would be good as some additional pictures, but standing alone it really falters.
