| Review of Pantyhose Amateurs:
I am a leg man. I am the first to admit it, and I find no shame in it. We can be crazy folks. Winter is really the worst time for us. That is because it is so cold out, we hardly ever get to see any leg. Hell, even the prostitutes around here bundle up in the winter! So that leaves us leg folk with very little to look at during these months. So we might turn to the web to get satisfaction. Now I'm not saying that leg fetish and pantyhose fetish are exclusive, but you know that pantyhose are put on the legs for a reason. So in the off season for legs, I will occassionally look into some pantyhose sites. And today I found one in Pantyhose Amateurs.
Pantyhose Amateurs is a site with a focus on pantyhose. Pantyhose isn't a major theme in the porn world in the first place. That does not stop the Pantyhose Amateurs team from being unique within the theme, luckily! Here you get all different kinds of girls wearing all different kinds of pantyhose. There is a huge variety in the different types and different colors of pantyhose worn here. They definately take the theme to a new level here. Its not just girls wearing pantyhose. It's girls showing off different kinds of pantyhose, very awesome. They took a theme that could have had a tendency to have gotten boring pretty quick, and with just a few simple touches they made it a really awesome theme!
When you first sign into Pantyhose Amateurs, you get a very busy, somewhat disorganized page. The site begins with the four latest updates, be they photos or videos. Then there is a tab to exclusive photos and exclusive videos. Then there are text links to different dates of updates. And then there are some bonus sites, as well as some junky live show links as well. This really equates to a whole lot of nothing to me. First of all, I see no need to seperate the content by month here. It is good for sites with daily updates, but here it just seems somewhat uneccesary. Second of all, I get on this site, and it just doesn't scream pantyhose to me. It screams, four thumbnails and some junk. I could go on and on about ways this site could have been made more effective. In the end, it is not the worst site design ever, but it could have been so much more.
The pictures here are kind of a mixture. Many of the pictures here are taken from the same content as the videos. Now, I couldn't really determine whether these were vidcaps or not. If they were, they were pretty good ones. I got the sense of them being vidcaps in some cases, but either way they are decent pictures. When they are taken from the same content as the videos, you are usually just as well off downloading the videos anyway. But there are definately some exclusive photos as well, and they really shine as far as the quality goes. They look very good at full screen, and even the thumbnails here are done very well. There is nothing terribly exciting in the pictures but nothing that will leave a terrible taste in your mouth either.
The videos seem to be more of where the sites bread is buttered. Upon picking a video, you are taken to that models full video site. Now the setup here is still pretty weak. There is one tiny thumbnail for each video, and only one. Make this thumbnail slightly smaller and it could be an AIM icon. There is a description that goes along with the video, and while not completely generic, this blurb does nothing to replace thumbnails on the site. There are text links to download full video in 1000k or 350k WMVs, as well as MPGs. Some of the older videos will replace the 1000k WMVs with 750k WMVs. Underneath these text links are links for segments. They make a shitload of segments here, and I am really glad they switched this to full video. There are still a few odd and end videos with no full video option, but for the most part you can get full video. That is a good thing, because 24 segments for one set is just a little overkill.
The quality here is pretty good at highest quality. There is definately a noticable difference between the 750k videos and the 1000k ones. The 1000k's have a slick, very clean look while the 750s are a little more muddy. They should take the time to convert them all. Either way this is some decent quality though, and it will definately be appealing to fans of the genre. Us pantyhose fans don't get exclusive video sites too often, so this is definately one to jump on especially since the quality is quite good!
The girls on Pantyhose Amateurs are quite stunning. Although I am not a hundred percent sure about the name. They call the site Pantyhose Amateurs, and then they admit to many of the girls being porn stars. Huh? I found a new porn star crush, and her name is Keri Sable. What an awesome girl. And they are all awesome girls here. None of them really have the greatest legs I've ever seen, but they all stand out as beautiful girls with a lot to show for the fans. The action here is basically watching the girls pose in pantyhose and then near the end maybe touch themselves a little bit. It is definately not the type of stuff for your typical hardcore fan, but for those who like legs and pantyhose, this is clutch. I will again emphasize that they are not afraid to use different kinds of pantyhose, tights, stockings, etc, to get the idea across. The site is great for being varied like that!
At the time of review, you get a total of 60 picture sets and 74 videos. The models here are sometimes used many times, but since they usually wear different types of pantyhose it doesn't get as boring as it could. This is a nice amount of content, really good for all of you pantyhose fans out there. Add to it that the site is updated weekly and you score a pretty big winner here. And there are also bonus sites in Michelle Lynn and Amateur Upskirts. Both are decent sites and just add to a value, which is needed due to a high price point.
Conclusion
This is a great site that should be had by all pantyhose fans out there. Sure, the price is a little high. But lets face it- would you rather pay an extra five dollars for a high quality site that caters to your fetish, a fetish that most ignore, or just get a regular site and save the money? Exactly, it is worth it here, and with two bonus sites, I don't see why any pantyhose fan wouldn't want to check this out!
