| Review of Cash Strapped Teens:
There comes a time in life that we are all strapped for cash. It just happens. Even the richest person in the world, there is a time in their life, that they are strapped for cash. Sure, their bank account might far exceed our lifetime income, but for them, they are strapped. And when this happens, what do we do? Well, we search for all kinds of income. The most common thing is to sell away some goods that you have that you don't need. Or maybe you do need, and just want to get rid of. That reminds me to go check my auctions, hehe. Well, as a straight male, there isn't much I can do to sell my body. But women, especially attractive ones, have the option of stripping, prostituting, or doing porn. Lucky girls!
Cash Strapped Teens is a site that focuses on teen girls who need to get some money, and fast. So what do they turn to? Stripping? No, too public and not enough cash. Prostitution? Nope, too dangerous. So it's porno. And the result is the porn site. Well, that is the theme at least. It is just a theme, as these girls are noticable as previously seen porn stars. But anyway, the theme is kind of cool. It's not original by any stretch, we are always seeing sites pop up with the idea of girls needing money. But they keep the theme interesting by adding the teen element to it, although that has been done before too. It is basically just a theme to objectify women, and the guys take advantage of their needing help, be it financially here.
When you first sign on, you are given a somewhat messy members page here. The top banner for the site is kind of awkward. There is a sidebar with a bunch of different sections, but for the most part, you will be sticking to just the main section, as the rest is just leased stuff. The main portion of the site shows the sets listed, with a little description, and about five thumbnails. The thumbnails are small, and not exactly the best. Underneath the latest sets are thumbnails for further sets, which ends up taking you to the full library page. Underneath this are a bunch of ads for the regular penis stuff, and a toy store. Pretty lame actually, as there is a bunch of junk all over the site. And the actual original content isn't presented in the best manner either, so I guess it's a thumbs down for the site design here.
The videos are the focus here on Cash Strapped Teens. The videos are heavily segmented. There are freaking twenty segments per set. That is absolutely ridiculous if you ask me. The segments end up being around two-two and a half minutes each. There is no quality options, all you get is the one standard video. This is extremely weak in my eyes. Very little options here, and it really makes this site hard to enjoy. The videos download fast, but they better at such a small quality and segment size. What this site really needs is a breakdown to at least two quality options. And a full video option would be NICE, but I would consider it unacceptable to have even half of the segments they have now. Oh well, it's their style, and if you like he idea, than you will have to deal with a bunch of segments.
The quality, as mentioned before, is only in one style. That is WMV format, and the quality is either 516 or 716k, depending on the set. Either way, the quality is good but not great. The 716 is a little better but I saw more at 516. Either way, they are definately bearable videos, even great in some cases. Full screen looks pretty good actually. The only real deterrent here is the segmentation. It's just really hard to watch porn in 20 parts. I mean, three or five is ok. But it seems like you are doing more clicking than watching when you have this many segments. And this just distracts from the entire experience, and is something that is really hard to deal with.
The pictures on Cash Strapped Teens are awesomely taken digital images from a camera. No vidcaps here. The beginning images are actually poses showing how beautiful these girls are. And then the action kicks in. The images are extra special here, because I found the videos hard to watch because of the segmentation. So having awesome pictures makes the site even more sweeter. These pics are 1014 x 676 pixels and they are crystal clear and awesomely taken. Just a nice pictures site, and it should be noted that combine the small video files, and the nice pictures, and you might have a good site if you are a dialup user!
The girls on this site are very, very attractive. What makes the site weaker as well is that they are not portrayed as such. Looking at the front thumbnails for each girl, it's like, eww, this girl doesn't look good at all. Then I downloaded the video and they were beautiful. I would have rather them used one of those first, good, posey pictures to show off the girl instead of what they did use. But I guess that is one of the big issues with the site overall. The action here is really good and was shot really good, but again, I must beat a dead horse. The segments just make everything crappy.
At the time of review, there were a total of 10 sets of content. The site is updated twice a month according to them, but at the same time, there are no timestamps to really show exactly if and when the site is updated. At the same time, the site does have a lot of bonuses. Not a bad collection of sites, but they all have the segmentation problem.
Conclusion
Cash Strapped Teens has it's good points, but a lot of it is overshadowed by its shoddy design. The girls don't look good in the big preview thumbnails, and then theres about a million segments. Throw in a ridiculously high priced membership, and it just isn't a great value. $40 a month.... really?
