| Review of Stoney Pass:
Ahh, we come to the end of another network. And with it comes an overall look at the network, its highest highs and its lowest lows. One thing to keep in mind when reading this is that it is a cluster of generalities. In other words, don't take what you read about the network to be true for each and every site. Rather, you must see this as just the whole. Check out each individual site for the specifics on it. This is all about the group, not the single.
Stoney Pass is the network we are looking at today. I will give you some general ideas about it. It is designed and looks like the Meatholes network, one of the premier reality networks out there. Same webmasters, I do believe. But there is a big difference, and that is that Stoney Pass is more of a dead network. They put the content on there, but it is rarely updated and the content on all of the sites is pretty low. Does that automatically disqualify it from being a great site? Absolutely not, so we will continue to look at it just bear in mind that this is ultimately a dead network.
Let's first talk about site design. This networks sites have one of two designs. One is very primitive and very shitty looking. The other is more like the meatholes setup. Neither one is really ideal, but the latter is ten times better and is pretty easy to navigate around. I can't complain about anything in the site design. Even when it's bad, at least its still easy to navigate.
With that said, we'll look at each site, its theme, and its highlights.
Black Mans POV- A point of view porn site with a focus on interracial sex. Very cool theme, but weaker in execution.
All Natural Jugs- A site about big titties. Also very weak on execution
Anal Cumsumption- Great site idea with the focus on eating cum after it is shot in the ass. Very cool theme, one that could be huge given a better network and update schedule. But still, nice and unique.
Almost Jailbait- Cookie cutter teen site
Black Dicks White Slits- Cookie cutter interracial site
Black In Black- All black sex! Refreshing to see it this way but ultimately its pretty boring.
Deep Crack High- Cheerleader porn, which is both cool and weak at the same time. But the theme isn't used much, which is cool.
Fresh Young Meat- Another Teen site
Girls Who Suck Cock- Oral site, actually this is the bulkiest site and it's pretty good too... big surprise given the very generic name.
Straight To The Sphincter- Anal sex niche site
Swallow Every Drop- Pretty much a generic porn site, but decent
Young Luscious Latinas- A decent focus on teenaged latina girls
As you can see, there are a variety of different themes here. If you like black sex, you have three sites you can dig into. If you like teens, you have four sites you can dig into. Theres a couple of anal specific sites, but the entire network is heavy on anal as well. So this is definately targeted for those three niches.
The videos here are a real random bag, so make sure you check the individual site reviews to see which is which. The one common is segmentation. Each set has tons of segments, and it is pretty annoying. The other common is you can either download high or low quality WMVs or MPGs. The difference comes in WMV quality. For the newer videos on the more often updated sites, the videos are over 1000k but they really don't come across well. On most sites, the videos are around 500k, and while they are not bad, they could be ten times better. And the best quality is 700k, which comes on some sites. Those ones really worked out well, and were probably the best fit here.
The pictures throughout were all vidcaps and poorly done ones. Really not much else to say here, kind of a disappointment.
Throughout the site, the girls were all pretty attractive amateurporn girls. They looked really good. No complaints here. The action was pretty much typical porn throughout, although there was a bigger focus on anal. However, I wouldn't say that this site is near the hardcore level that the Meatholes network is.
Most of the sites had about 11-13 sets of content. As individual sites, that is short of impressive. But when you figure that there are 12 sites on the network, that can add up to a decent amount of porn. I say that you should look at this network as a network, and not as individual sites. If you do that, this is a good deal, but when you look at individual sites, in no way does this stand up to the better networks out there on the internet.
I already talked about the update schedule, but to reiterate, it sucks. The sites are rarely updated, and in the month that I've been looking at these sites, I've seen no updates to most of them. So basically what you are looking at is what you get. And thats a shame in some cases.
Conclusion
Stoney Pass is a combination of everything that is good in porn, and everything that is bad in porn. The good is some of the awesome themes, like anal cumsumption and black mans pov. These are fresh, not used very awesome, and could really excel on a good network. But here, its bad, because there are little to no updates. Things are thrown on haphazardly. And probably worst of all, little to no care is given to the customer. The segments and lower quality are all things to make you want to buy the DVDs, conveniently on sale on the site. But don't they realize, we are internet porn watchers, not DVD porn watchers?
So do I recommend it? Well, I liked some of the stuff I got here, I won't lie. And some of themes are awesome, and overall, the action is good. If you're looking for a new network, and are willing to deal with the "what you see is what you get forever" attitude, then this is definately worth looking at. But otherwise, I'd just say, pass it over and we'll move on to another, better network!
