| Review of X Gape:
Everyone needs an escape sometimes. Right now, I could really use one. All the crap and the bullshit of the real world needs to go away, if only for one day. That would be so amazing. Well, I'm not going to get that anytime soon it seems. So instead I will go for an XGape. I will join the site Xgape and escape into a world of wonderful porn! Sure, it may not be as good as the kind of escape I was envisioning. But it will still work. So why don't you, for today, take an Xgape with me?
Xgape is a hardcore anal sex video site. This is one of those heavy video sites, not a reality site. More like here we are, here are our videos. No bullshit involved, no fake storylines or plots, just video files for your enjoyment. The focus here is on anal, but that can be such a big focus, that it is basically just a porn site. As such, there is not much of a theme, but it still works if you are out there looking for some great porn videos.
When you first sign onto Xgape, you are given a members page which is very professional looking. There is a toolbar on the top, and on the main page the latest videos are featured. There are various types of hype for the site on there, which I think is kind of funny since they already got you to join. They also thank their members at the bottom of the page, and say that they are willing to do anything to service them. Well, I definately like that attitude. The site setup is simple, easy and cool. The name of the site and logo is on both sidebars so you will never forget where you are. Otherwise, this site is both easily and well designed, you can find everything easily and there really no problems.
There is one thing I have to draw a disagreement on with the site design. I already mentioned the top toolbar. Now, this is a good idea and it looks really good. But half of the stuff on the top toolbar is ads! DVDs, Store, Pharmacy, these are all ad links. I don't like paying a site, and then having them have ads all over the site. This might not be as bad as popups, but basically, when we pay for memberships, we pay for content, not ads. Ads for a sexual pharmacy can be found easily. We don't need it on our member sites. Just wanted to say that because its not just one little link on this site, but three little links.
The videos come in either AVI or MPEG, depending on the video. You can download either one of four segmented sections, or you can go for the whole video. The file sizes here are pretty big but not unbearable either. You can easily download a lot of content quickly here, because the quality is good but not perfect. Speaking of quality, you really get some decent videos here. They are ok looking at full screen but a little pixelated. It's really worth a look at. The video section here is very strong and cool. It may not be perfect for you quality freaks, but it works out quite good for everyone else who isn't afraid of a few pixels!
There are no pictures here on Xgape. They are focused on being the best possible video site out there, and as such, don't waste their time with pictures. I like pictures fine, but I really like it when video focused sites don't waste their time with pictures instead of making a crappy pictures section. Some pic fans may be disappointed, as well as low bandwith users, so I will make a note of it although it doesn't really affect my rating of the site at all.
The girls here on Xgape are stunningly good looking, beautiful women who do look like professional porn actresses. Well, that is probably because this is professional porn. Yes, nobody claimed this to be original content, and its not. But it is very awesome, high quality stuff that is definately worth downloading. The action runs different in each video, but they all include lots of anal. One of the videos I watched even had some double anal in it. Now thats gotta hurt! There are some sets with one girl and one guy, and some sets with multiple guys and some with multiple guys and girls. I couldn't really find a pattern here, except for all of the videos involving anal. The videos do run and flow like professional porn, so you know what you are getting here.
At the time of review, there were a total of about 16 videos. The site is updated faithfully every Tuesday, so you know there will be lots more added as time goes on. And with that said, this is a relatively new site.. so you can join up now and grow with the site, or you can wait a few months and see where it ends up landing on the meter. I think very highly of the site, and I think it is one of the best video standalone sites I've seen out there.
With everything said, there are no bonus sites with your membership to Xgape. And at its price, you may say that one of the AVSvideo sites is a way better deal. But its a quantity over quality deal. I know on Xgape they are committed to putting the absolute best anal videos on their site. So that is why I would recommend it over some of the AVS sites. But the 1 month membership here is pricey. I think the price is structured because the three days for one dollar deal is such a good buy, they expect people to forget to cancel or just not want to cancel, and thus pay a highly jacked member fee. So that might be something to be aware of, but unlike some other spam sites I've seen that incorporate this pricing structure, Xgape actually has awesome content, presented in an awesome manner.
Conclusion
Xgape is a very good video site. It will continue to grow and mature as a site, but for right now, you can get some awesome anal videos at an awesome (trial) price, so I would definately go for it no doubt!
