| Review of Spy Drive:
We are all a little voyeuristic in a way. Just think about it. Sometimes you turn your head to look up a girls skirt. Sometimes, you wish the bathroom door wasn't all the way shut. And if its not, you try to take a peek in. It's part of a natural human thrill, seeing things that aren't supposed to be seen. And when its something as personal and private as sex and nakedness, the human really perks up to take a peek. So if you want to say you've never peeked, I'll shake my head and say liar. It's human nature, and Spy Drive is a website based on that facet of human nature.
Spy Drive is a video website with a focus on voyeurism. And I'm not talking "oops I left my legs open in a short skirt while smiling for the camera" voyeurism. Instead, we are talking hidden camera, caught in the act, true to life voyeurism. Stuff that if the cameraman was caught doing, he'd be in big trouble. And while I'm not sure if the voyeurism here is truly real or played out, it runs like it is 100% real, which gives it a real edge to make it very nice and very different from a lot of voyeur sites out there.
When you first sign on to Spy Drive, you are given a members page that is very direct and to the point. The action is listed right away, and theres absolutely no BS in getting it. Six updates are listed on the front page, with the main focus set getting four smaller thumbnails and one bigger one. I say main focus set, because each week there are several sets added. Up to five can be added weekly. The main set is probably the best, a longer running video. But there are also smaller videos shown in the set. This is kind of cool, something that the site doesn't have to do and is actually far beyond the call of duty here. It makes for more to look forward to every week. And frankly, with voyeur videos like this, it can really be touch and go on whether you like the update or not, so its cool to have a few choices.
The videos are the main, and only, focus on Spy Drive. The videos you download here are MPG format, and they are split into many segments. The problem with this is that the videos aren't even very long, I think the segments were done at the one minute mark and that is kind of ridiculous if you ask me. The videos are also not uniquely named, which can leave a big mess on your hard drive unless you change the names of each segment. Everything does download fast, so I can give them that. But otherwise, I think the technicalities of the site could be improved. How bout having one big file format, these videos only run about 8 minutes anyways, that is not a big download. The extra updates don't have any thumbnails at all, so you are running blind when downloading them. And name your files uniquely! It is such a simple thing a webmaster can do when uploading videos, and it saves us users so much time and headaches!
Ok onto video quality. Things are a little different here. Considering the nature of this website, the video quality is supposed to be shitty! It's crappy hidden video sneaking around. If you got a good quality, that would be a disservice to the theme. So it's really hard to knock the bad video quality here. The actual transfers are pretty nice in MPG format, but basically what they are taping is so weak quality wise, it doesn't even show. Thats the way it's supposed to be though, so I can't really say it's a bad quality. Not really a traditional review in that the quality is almost looked over, but this isn't a traditional site either!
Speaking of untraditional, I can't really talk about girl quality here. You barely ever see the girls face, and sometimes you don't even see her whole body. The action I can touch on. The action is complete hidden camera voyeur sex. This isn't the type where only one party knows the camera is on either, this where neither party knows they are being taped. And it's pretty damn hot, considering. They have a focus on car sex here, maybe thats because of the name, maybe not, I don't know. This is weird sex, if this was on any other site that wasn't a hidden cam site, I'd be slamming it to hell and back. But here, it works, and will please fans of the genre.
At the time of review, there were a total of 12 major sets, with each major set having 3 or 4 extra sets as well. So that adds up to a pretty good amount of content. It might not seem like it, because the videos are very short. Some of the "extras" are only 20-40 seconds long. But at the same time, you can't get videos that are too long this way either. So again, it's an accomodation that is acceptable for the site. You get weekly updates with 4-5 sets a week, which is really cool and good for returning every week. No bonus sites here, unfortunately, I think if this had been part of a bigger network it would have a much broader appeal as a support site. But still, a great site for fans of the genre.
Conclusion
This is a good site for hidden camera, spy fans. Unfortunately as I mentioned, there are some site design issues. I could really go for some nice full videos instead of the one minute segments, which really hurt the overall videos. And ultimately, while it is a good site, it is a little on the pricey side, so you might want to wait for the site to get even beefier before a join up.
