| Review of Am Girls:
American Girls are a completely different kind of girl. Being an American, I can speak about them in very great detail. Girls that would be ugly in many other countries can be attractive in America, due to our customs and traditions. American girls can also be very slutty. You have to watch out with American girls, I'm telling you! While a lot of websites feature exclusively American girls, very few tend to highlight this fact. This site does highlight American girls.. and boy oh boy do they highlight them!
Am Girls is a traditional styled porn site with a focus on amateur american girls. Now, with that focus, I'm not sure what the name stands for. Does the Am mean Amateur, or does the Am mean American? It's questions like this that I will never have the answer for. But there are some things I can answer, like how high quality the site is, what is involved in the site, and so on. So I will do that right here and right now!
It should first be noted that Am Girls is very borderline with being a garbage site. Whats a garbage site you ask? Well I call a site "garbage" when it has no original content, and is just filled with leased site links. To someone who never really signs up to porn sites, this seems like an awesome deal- hundreds of different sites with content on it! But to seasoned porn veterans, we've seen it before- done it already, and just wasted some hard-earned money. Am Girls has limited exclusive content, and has that huge amount of leased sites. So it's very borderline.
When you sign on to Am Girls, you are given a front page that contains a selected few of the "exclusive picture galleries." It then has a bunch, a bunch of leased links underneath that. This is basically set up like a leased site wonderland, with lots of stuff all over the place. The thumbnails of the exclusive sets are pretty decent, give you a good enough idea whether you want to check out the pictures set or not. But the site just seems like it was formulated from a common template you can find somewhere on the web. I'm not accusing them of that, but it just looks like every other site like this. The site design works to an extent- but on that same token, it could use some work. Not overly offensive on the site design.
I would like to take a minute to talk about the exclusive picture galleries. These are pretty much the only exclusive content you get on the site. The galleries are laid out nicely, the thumbnails look good and get across the essence of the entire picture. There aren't too many pictures, and there aren't too few pictures. I'd say that the number of pictures is just about right. All the thumbnails are listed on one page, so you don't have to fool around with browsing multiple pages. I can say that I am pretty satisfied with the gallery setup here on Am Girls.
The actual picture quality is also pretty good. These pictures are 600x800 pixels. Not the biggest pictures ever, but they aren't bad of course. The sites photographers are also pretty good, there was a good use of closeups here. The only problem I had was with the actual picture- it looked relatively clear, but I think they could just be a little more crisp. This isn't a huge problem, but it's what sets it down a notch compared to other pictures out there on the net.
There are no exclusive videos here on Am Girls. So video hounds will not like this site, thats for sure. There are leased video sites, but as I said before, we've seen that all before. There are also downloadable movies that are comparable to the movies on Adult Bouncer and Deluxe Pass. These are not exclusive to this site, but if you haven't downloaded them elsewhere they are a nice little bonus.
Now comes the question of execution. I mentioned the theme being amateur American girls. Well, while that is the theme, the site does not really pride itself on it. It's the theme just because they needed a name for the site, and this is what came up. With that said, the girls here actually are pretty damn hot. I found the girls on here to be excellent, and they do manage to be amateur looking and hot at the same time. Not "girl next door" amateur looking, but "the hottest girl in town who works at the bank and has a long term boyfriend." The action is primarily solo action, but not softcore by any means. There are some lesbian sets and some hardcore sets, but basically you get solo hot american female pictures here on Am Girls.
They show daily updates here on Am Girls. But, the updates they are showing is to the leased sites. I don't really have a good gauge on how often the exclusive content is updated. But I wouldn't expect to be a member here for long. The one dollar trial here is what I would go for, if anything. There are LOTS of sets, i lost count, so a membership here is definately worth a dollar... cheaper than any porn mag out there and way more content. Just make sure you cancel before you get rebilled at an even higher price than the month memberships!
Conclusion
Am Girls is a bottom-of-the-rung site that I would not recommend unless you are strapped for cash, or just want to be cheap and check out some pictures and get caught up on some leased sites. Also if you've never downloaded the dvd movies on here, that is also another big plus. But all the good factors just point back to the price of the trial.
