| Review of Exciting Illusions:
There are a lot of people against porn out there in our world. Pornography is often seen as a dirty, disgusting, and degrading phenomenon. Some people say it is very anti-woman. If thats true, why is there gay porn as well? Others just say it is very degrading to women. Well, in some pieces of pornography it is. I won't lie, theres some stuff out there that degrades women. Theres also some stuff out there that degrades men. Well, today we are going to talk about a site that does the absolute opposite of degrading women. This website glorifies women. It makes them look beautiful. It is Exciting Illusions by the photographer Roman Sluka.
Exciting Illusions is a traditional site. The site is mainly pictures. It does have videos, but they are not really PORN videos. More on that later. Roman Sluska is a photographer. Not a pornographer, a photographer. His work has appeared in Playboy among a lot of other like minded magazines. His reason for creating this website is to allow him to work outside of the boundaries that are usually set for him when doing work with magazines. He just wants to do his own thing, and not have anybody else dictate his work. Do we like the results? You'll have to read more to find out!
The site setup here on Exciting Illusions is very simple. Once you log into the main page, you are given a page with all of the content right there. There are thumbnails for each photo set and each video set. Each gets one thumbnail. The thumbnails are pretty effective. If this was a reality site I'd be hollaring about how I need more thumbnails to decide if I should download the video. But for a traditional, artsy picture site. this works well. The members page is a little plain, but it gets across everything you need to know. I usually don't mention this, but when I see nicely done work, I must mention it: the previews, the opening pages, all of that is just visually stunning. They did a really good job with that. If thats a future indication of the work done here, the future is so bright that you will need shades!
The pictures are by far the focus on this site. These pictures are just beautiful. When I say I want good pictures, I want pictures like I see here. This should be a model site, Roman Sluka should give out free memberships to all other porn webmasters so that they can be in awe. I bet he won't like doing that though! Having a professional photographer can make a huge difference. And here, the picture quality is just gorgeous. Nicely sized pictures here, and they are all extremely clean, clear, crisp, the three c's as I call them. At 300kb, the pictures are big, but the quality is awesome. The thumbnails are very good. The galleries themselves are not overloaded- they have just enough pictures to look great. The photos are shot flawlessly, with no blur at all, and again I must mention the crispness. The poses these girls are in are awesome; you can tell they were carefully planned. It just seems like a lot of thought was put into the pictures, the way it should be.
The videos section was far from normal. Instead of having videos of the girls in action, the videos were all behind the scenes videos, getting the girls prepared for the photoshops I just talked about. Sort of like one of those DVD extra features that they do on feature films. It's kind of cool, but I think I personally would like it better if there were some real action videos included with them. As it is, it's very interesting and cool to watch, but not "jack" material. If you try to masturbate to these movies, it's more like watching an R rated movie with nudity to get off. You have to watch lots of other stuff to get a few glimpses of titty or bush. If you do decide to give it a wank, the full screen videos look pretty good. But basically, the videos are just very different. In fact, for one, theres not a video, its basically a picture slideshow. It works in the context of being different, but its not for everyone. And I almost forgot- the format is WMV, everything is one file long so no segments here. The server was very fast for me as well.
The girls here on Exciting Illusions are top notch, model quality girls. They are like the girls you would see in Playboy and similar magazines. In fact, I would say that they would rank among the better models for those magazines. The action here is very artsy. Lots of posing, and you can tell these are taken in a controlled environment. This isn't really a site for amateur fans, or people who like that sort of pornography. It's definately very planned. In fact, Roman Sluka doesn't just look at the girls when it comes to his photography- he also looks at things like location, and props, which is one of the reasons he did this site- to be able to be more artsy in that fashion. The action here is mainly softcore, but there is some spreading as well. It's great stuff- but not for everybody.
This site is very new. Be that as it may, it already has a nice little bit of content. There are 16 picture sets, and there are 11 videos, not overwelming but a decent start. The videos are the behind the scenes things, so they are naturally of the same girls as the pictures. The site is updated every week- with sets that are done exclusively for the site. There are no bonus sites here.
Conclusion
Exciting Illusions is a very good site, but not for everybody. Read the review carefully- if you like well shot, beautiful softcorish pictures, then by all means join as this site does this genre very, very well! There really is only one thing missing... MORE. The site is new so it's easily forgiven and with the weekly updates I'll look forward to checking this site out in 6 months to see where it's at.
