| Review of College Invasion:
College times sure are crazy. When I was in college, I never had a van full of porn stars roll into my school and start filming! I did have more than my share of girls who could be porn stars. And there were lots of cars! However, with the Shane's World presentation College Invasion, they do what I only wish happened at my school.. they go around, have some fun with the cameras, and then eventually make some college kids day with a hardcore fucking from a porn starlet!
That is the basic theme of College Invasion: a bunch of porn people going to a school, raising all kinds of havoc, taking some porn to remember it by, and then going home and leaving a huge mess to clean up! I think of this as light hearted porn, really. Feel good porn if you will. Theres lots of stuff on here that will make you laugh, and for some people that edge and that rememberence of the good ole days will do more for you than the actual porn. So the fun is twofold, really!
Some of you here may have caught the NBC Dateline special on this site, well I hadn't but the webmaster dropped a link to where I could watch it and while I'm sure this broadcast was meant put a focus on how porn is corrupting the foundation of US future, I just had a blast watching it. Before signing up for the site I think everyone should see this Dateline show and then consider joining. It made it so much more fun for me to watch the girls shout in the shower "Anyone wanna make out? You have to be naked", or later in the parking lot ask "Anyone want a handjob" when you have seen in the special that a kid got expelled for kissing one of girls.
I feel that the main pages of College Invasion are done well. Once you log in, you get a listing of about five scenes of original content from the site. There are about five pages of this. There is one thumbnail, a nice little blurb and links to pictures and videos. It's a cool little setup, with a very clean site design and no real ads or BS.
The site is mainly driven by videos, so I will talk about them first. The videos are indeed segmented, but in pretty good-sized sections (most sets have around four segments). The thumbnails don't show much about the actual videos, but the file sizes are relatively small so it doesn't take much to download them and decide on your own. The videos can be downloaded in either WMV or MOV format, and originally clicking a link allows you to stream the file if you prefer. Should also be noted that the videos are not uniquely named, so you will have a lot of "1.wmv"s on your computer.
The quality of the videos is pretty good. When full screened, there is a little bit more than normal amount of pixelation. I expected more since they actually have DVD source material, unfortunately it's a little watered down in this regards. It's still good video, don't get me wrong, just not great. The action is pretty lanky and all over the place, as could be expected for most party sites, but they fit the mood perfectly.
There is also a pictures section as well. Since this is a video driven site, the pictures take a back seat. The pictures they post are actually just vidcaps from the video, and not very good ones. For one, the pictures are sized to big for the quality of picture, so you get pixelation right off the bat. Thats on top of the fact that most vidcaps just can't compare to originally shot pictures. But College Invasion is indeed a video site primarily, so you really can't let the lack of photo quality detract too much from the overall site.
The girls on here are porn stars. If you are looking for some amateur college hotties, look elsewhere. They are porn stars and they aren't afraid to hide that fact. There are some that I recognized, such as Belladonna (the one with the tattoo!) and Sunrise Adams (a personal favorite) as well as the one, the only hedgehog, Mr. Ron Jeremy!
Bonuses? Yep, you got em! With your membership to College Invasion, you can also get some other Shane's World bonus clips, from series like the original Shane's World, Hardcore Harry's, The Adventures of Tony, and Virtual Blowjob. Two of these bonuses offer downloadble movies, while two others only offer streaming movies. These are of a comparable quality as the main content, and a couple of these bonus sections have a good amount of content (while a few others only have a little, but still...) So it's not access to other sites, it's just a few extra videos to watch, nice but not overwhelming.
You can also check out a monthly contest as a member, where you can get all kinds of cool, kickass Shane's World merchandise. There is also a store, where, if you don't have what it takes to win the contest, you can purchase your favorite Shane's World stuff as well. Some cool little extras if you ask me.
As far as originality goes, it should be noted that College Invasion is available on DVD as well as on the web. I'm really not sure which came first, and if the website is just derived from the dvd series, or if its vice versa. It doesn't matter much, but I would like to note that these videos are available commercially as well.
The website claims to update twice a week. I would also like to point out that I had trouble opening more than one file on the site at once, for example, you can only download one segment at a time. It might just be my setup, but thats the way it worked over here. Makes things more time consuming, but with College Invasion its worth it!
Conclusion
This is a good site with some good videos and a really fun atmosphere. It will make you laugh on top of getting you off, so the experience is twofold! Worth checking out based on the fun factor alone, you will enjoy this site!
