| Review of Stream Sex:
Streamsex.tv, the name itself oozes of streams only doesn't it? Well without getting in too deep in that already I will just say that downloading of all the clips is possible, but it requires that you have bought the QuickTime Pro version which is $29.95 according to streamsex.tv's FAQ page. So downloading is possible but not "by default" I guess you could say, I never bought the Pro version myself and I must admit I have no plans to but if I would have been able to save myself a nice collection of movies here.
Streamsex.tv is another site which has chosen to bring more porn movies online and I am far from against this idea. It might not qualify as exclusive material but these sites usually blow other video sites out of the water on the quantity side, and as with the others this one makes it's mark with it's large video archive and the diversity of the clips. You will find anything from granny's fucking to pregnant teen babes, quite a leap isn't it?
The archive really is huge, I couldn't get a complete overview of all the clips and even if I could I wouldn't have counted them manually, believe me, but I did use the search function and just typed in "e" and I got 1126 movie hits, damn! With an average running time of approx 9-10 minutes per movie we are looking at almost 200 hours of porn movies and right there I think we already got what we came for, didn't we? The price of $24.95 per month doesn't seem as a whole lot to get this much porn for really.
What was my favorite part of the site was the neat indexing that has been done, everything has been boxed in and made it extremely easy for the end user to find exactly the type of clips he is looking for. Clips are categorized by sex niches, hair color, movie file size, by languages (there are quite a lot of Swedish and german movies here), by running time and hell even screen size. Each clip is shortly described in a line or two and holds the screen size, file size and running time, what they don't have is a revealing thumbnail though. On other sites we are so used to being able to see a shot of the girls involved in the clip before we choose to start watching it so when it's not there we kind of miss it. This might never be done here because they may not always have still shots of the girls and doing dumps of 1126 movies (there might be more) seems more like mission impossible than anything else.
You can't really say much "negative" about this site as a whole because it really delivers a lot at a relatively low price, it's more like deductions in rating that it is negative as such. First off the stream/download issue must be addressed I guess, because stream is default but download is possible if you have the QuickTime Pro version. I don't much care for this myself, if I would compare it to a video store round the corner it would be like the guy behind the counter saying "yeah for $24.95 you can watch the movies here, but if you pay the one time price of $30 for this tool, I'll let you take them home as well". It's a crude comparison yeah but that's kind of how it feels like. It's not really a huge negative because of the name of the site which really doesn't indicate much more than streams. I deduct on the content rating because of the need for qt pro to keep the clips. Because I don't have the pro version I couldn't watch the clips in full screen only the fixed size on the site, but from what I could tell the quality is good all round both in picture and sound.
Finally I will just say that a lot of the movies are non-English speaking, there's a lot of German and Swedish in particular but of course also English ones, how many of each I won't be the judge of, but I like it when I can understand what is being said though and I couldn't in many of them.
Conclusions:
I only experienced this site as a stream site, but I came pretty close to shellin out for the qt pro version because I came across a lot of clips I wanted to hold on to, however my cheapness prevented me from doing so I would rather have had another file format available that everyone would be able to download. The site is reasonably price and if you don't already have a mucho-bang-for-your-buck-site as a backup under you, then this one is definitely worth considering, even more so for Pro owners.
