| Review of Sweet 18 Girls:
This really could be an open and shut case and a long way down the road I think it is. Of course the sitename gives the niche away right away and if that didn't tip you off, maybe the lollipop used in their logo will have it dawning on you. Yes it's a teen site, but is it a new and extraordinary one that goes the extra mile? Well I'm gonna be getting into that during the review but to save a lot of suspense and needless reading for those who are not hardcore fans of this nice I'll say that the page comes out ok…
The first thing I did on this page was try to find out whether or not this material is exclusive, on the tour they promise us that the girls we will find in the members area are: rare and never-before seen fresh cuties and right after that it says their models are 100% exclusive. Fair enough I didn't recognize any of the girls in the picture sets but I did have some dejavu going on with some of the video clips but that's mainly because of some balloons. I believe they are right when they say their stuff is exclusive.
The imbalance between pictures and videos here quite odd, I'm used to the picture sets outnumbering the number of video clips by many dozens, however here it's the exact opposite. The numbers are 33 picture sets and 82 videos but there is really no telling when this content is updated. I checked out the tour on the outside and the members area but they do not reveal an update frequency nor do the sets show when they were put online so we kinda have to take this site at face value.
I enjoyed the pictures over all, I actually liked the fact that I browsed through medium sized images and could watch the full resolution by clicking it, browsing went smooth and it only take a few pictures to determine whether or not you want to download the .zip file of the entire set which you can do with all sets here, nice. The pictures range a bit in quality and sharpness and it doesn't look like one photographer doing all the shooting, some of the pictures are very colorful where others are kind of grey, fuzzy and quite frankly boring and then again some of them are very sharp and very nicely shot, I have used these for samples for the first two and the last one is an example of the opposite.
I gotta pad the webmasters of this site on the back and say "great decision on the videos!", they have actually decided to make all the videos available in full sized downloads only. Each video is available in a smaller file size, wmv format and a large size, mpeg. The wmv files are usually around 30 mb in size but the few really big ones can be up to 70+ mb, the mpegs range from 100 – 400 mb in size. I was a bit confused at times that I seemed to get worse quality on the mpegs a lot of the time even though the wmv files are rather blocky and only barely make it in full screen mode. And here's a fun twist; usually there is really not a lot of talking in the videos because it's mostly girls masturbating quietly, but when they speak they speak what appears to be German, ouch.
Just to clearify, there are also hardcore boy/girl clips as well as girl/girl but the emphasis is put on masturbation clips. Overall quality is medium here.
I think the design deserves a word before I put this one to rest. Going through the pictures is easy and quick and you can even use the "F" and "B" keys on the keyboard to go back and forth but the downside of that can be that getting back to the main index gets tricky. The clips are all represented by a single thumbnail and the videos do not have belonging picture sets. The videos are listed by 6 on each page throughout 14 pages and to download you just "save as". The site can seem a bit empty but the coloring and overall theme is kept well still you wish they could serve their material up a bit more imaginative perhaps.
On a side note, the watermarks on the videos are quite big and take up around 15% of the screen image ;)
Bottom Line: Ok teen site, but doesn't push the envelope.
