| Review of Swoit:
Swoit…. Isn't *swoit* the sound a saw makes when you bend it? You simply can't help it, for the first few minutes of your encounter with this site the name makes you ponder and like I said my conclusion is that it's a sound a saw makes, let's just leave it at that shall we?
The real question now is; What the hell is swoit.com and what type of site is it? Well my first answer would be that is an AVS site like deluxepass.com for example but the Swoit people make a real effort to let their users know that there is a difference. As you may or may not know, AVS sites are a package deal where you get access to hundreds, even thousands of sites for the price of one, here the alleged down fault (according to Swoit) is that these sites are small and limited in content and even mass produced. What swoit does is sign-up/hire already exisiting sites and offer the members access to them through them.
I must admit that at first I was shaking my head while thinking "if it walks like cow, talks like a cow and feels like a cow, then it's a damn cow no matter what they decide to call it", as it turns out I was a bit mistaken about that it seems. I didn't actually believe that I would get access to any "real" paysites but what peaked my interest (and which is why I signed up) is because while looking through their site portfolio I saw exploitedblackteens.com listed…… what the hell? I liked exploitedblackteens and you can go check out the review yourselves from January, so I was starting to think that I might actually be worth it to join this whole Swoit community, so I signed up for the 24 hour trial, my credit card was first denied by ccbill (for the first time I might add) so I had to use their alternative biller AcPay, this worked like a charm.
The inside didn't really offer any unpleasant surprises because you get the full lowdown on what you get before you go in but another site that I didn't expect to see was blackdickswhitechicks.com, this is a reality site and one of the good ones. It has a load of videos, and they are downloadable and to my very big surprise my access to this, and all the other sites, was unlimited…nice!
By this time I was just out for blood because I wanted to milk this 24 hour trial for what it was worth so I started going for the movie sites, and I actually found a few like freshamateurvids, exploitedblackteens, blackdicks…, and another one I didn't catch the name of. This was all great and I made my broadband connection earn every penny back for this months fee.
There is a bee in the flowers though and it kinda stings.
When you sign up you do get access to 162 pay sites, but a fair share of the sites are actually cloned sites with the exact same content and layout, just different domain names. Maybe swoit is to be blamed for this because of a poor screening process or maybe they are just trying to get their site tally up in a hurry, either way I think they should weed them out. First time I recognized one of the sites I thought I must have just clicked the same link before and just not remember, but the third and fourth time I knew what time it was.
Given that you have access to so many sites you are of course also guaranteed a nice amount of updates every week, how many on each site I can't say but add it up and and it a nice bag of porn a week.
The design
I wanted to point out the layout of Swoit because it's pretty much unlike any other site I have seen before. Though you are visiting other paysites you never actually leave swoit.com, throughout your entire visit to all these sites you always have the Swoit bar on the top of your screen. After I got used to the surfing I wouldn't want it any other way mainly becaused I used the internal bookmarking feature a lot. My plan was simple, go through the sites quickly, make a quick judgement on which are worth revisiting and bookmark them in the swoit bar. The way the bookmarking works is you go to site lisiting and choose bookmarks (all categories) and then your sites are shown with thumbnail samples and everything, very very easy living if you ask me.
Boiling it down
Swoit is not a cheap lady, the monthly fee is actually $50 which is about $20 or even $30 more than for an AVS subscription. Is it really worth that yet?..... well I could argue back an forth about that for a while to myself. I did 4 very good movie sites and they all charged $30 for a month membership if you didn't go through swoit so you are saving money for sure, and on the other hand I had to go through a lot of crap and the clone site thing was annoying. You make the call. I give this site 4 stars based on the 4 high quality sites I found (2 of them already reviewed for 4˝ stars as well) but if you are unsure and want to see for yourself, just do the 24 hour trial (notice that it is just one day) and see if you wanna stick around for the next month, in which case you will be automatically rebilled unless you cancel your subscription! Cancellation was easy for me, the link was in the mail and I had no problems.
Prices:
1 day trial: $2.95 (rebills to 1 month subscription)
1 month: $49.95 (rebills)
Bottom Line: This garden just needs some weeding out.
