| Review of Barbis Slutty Adventures:
Frequent readers of pornliving.com will have noticed that over the years I have developed an unbalanced love/hate relationship with single amateur women’s porn sites. Every time I have given an amateur site a mediocre or worse review I would get absolutely spammed by these women and their husbands about how I couldn’t comment on stuff like quality and update schedules because they were amateurs. I got news for you, that means you’re now earning money which makes you a professional. I hope I didn’t scare you off with that rant…no? Good! You now have a chance of having a really hot porn experience because what you will find at the end of this review is that in spite of a rough edges this site has a solid core that will appeal to a lot of porn fans.
Let’s just get some annoyances out of the way right now because it’s not what stuck out at the end for me, but I was a bit turned off in the beginning by a few things.
Kicking it off (this is not shocking) Barbi actually didn’t turn out to look the way she does on the front page of the site. On tour pages her pictures are heavily retouched in every way but I also noticed that right away before entering the member’s area so don’t color me completely surprised. Still I found that it misrepresents her in a bad way as it makes her look fake, which she really doesn’t appear to be once you have watched her videos.
Last little burp and then I’m done, is the live cam archives that the site cam hotties offers for when Barbi is not online, that quality is not worth bothering with. Only reason why I mention it is because I have just recently written a review where streaming flash movies of very high quality were made available from previous live shows. I guess I would like all sites to give us that great an experience but for this site it’s a wee thumbnail in motion you are watching but it’ll have to do.
You’re still hanging in there, man you must have a real hard on for Barbi, well I don’t blame you, she’s something else and she has a pretty darn cool site to boot. I actually have a lot of very positive things to say about this site but we have to start somewhere.
The biggest attraction on this site is of course Barbi, that goes without saying I know but Barbi is unique and she deserves to be mentioned as the star of her site that she is. It’s not a rare scenario on amateur porn sites at all, I know, but apparently it’s pretty hard for other women to pull it off right. The videos succeeds in giving us that amateur/intimate feeling while still delivering at a quality level you can bare to watch for more than 1 minute. A really great intimate atmosphere that is hard to fake, I loved it.

Amazingly enough there are 86 complete videos available for download in wmv format (high/low). This is because an update frequency of 1 new video a week has been maintained for just under 1½ years. It’s nice to know that this is not just another single model site that just pops up, doesn’t make enough money and shuts down soon after due to lack of commitment. The videos are decent quality (640x460 1,6mbps bitrate) that can seem a bit blurry in dark lighting but other than that nice to watch.
Besides videos Barbi shoots a lot of still photos as well, be it hardcore, posing, masturbating or whatever. These are surprisingly good and there is nothing really amateurish about them in that sense as they are a joy to watch. (I picked the fishnet photos for samples because you may know, I’m a sucker for that!). There were too many sets for me to bother counting but there’s 150+ sets easily it seems.
OK ok I’m almost done but I have to mention the all too rare “stories” section that is available here. Barbi picks up a pen (or a laptop) and writes erotic stories that I think are supposed to be based on real events, but honestly I don’t care. The stories is a stroll down erotica memory lane to when thoughts could provoke more than any gaping asshole ever does today. To my great surprise there were over 100 stories to read and I actually went through 3-4 of them and then I went back horny as hell to the videos and got my… well let’s keep it clean.
Let me remind you that Barbi does live webcam shows, and she does these several times a week, sadly I was not able to catch her as my schedule didn't allow me to.
The bottom line
