| Review of Gina Lynn:
I think everyone has a favorite porn star. Someone, who, no matter the crappy set or the odd thing he or she might be doing, they just do it for you. I have a few of my own, and unfortunately, they are not mainstream stars. It is harder and harder to track down what they did. The one girl, I've only seen two sets, and not much more is available. Maybe she settled down into a normal life. Who knows, but I know about Gina Lynn maybe because she is one of my ex girlfriends favorite porn stars, she absolutely loved her. And now that I have rolled through her website a bit, I can see why.
Gina Lynn is a professional porn actress with a nice resume of movies. She is a busty, skinny blonde, almost coming across as the prototypical porn actress. She is very slender with a decent body, and one of my favorite things about her is her hair. It is a beautiful blonde color, and it is also very long and straight when she does not have it up. She is nicely tanned, and she really looks good all around. There isn't much about her that looks amateur, but she is very attractive and nice to watch in porn.
Signing into Gina Lynn's page, you get some nice pictures of her in the banner and alongside the page. I especially how they made her fit into the sidebar on the side, it is just cool looking. The first thing the site points you to is a blog, which is cool because it gives you a little more personality to this porn star. The next thing you'll see is a webcam page, which is not active yet. You are then previewed the last three picture sets and the last three movie sets with some small thumbnails. You can see much better previews if you go to the individual picture or video sections. This is a nice index page, it looks clean, and it looks good on top of that. They do some nice graphical work, and get across all the relevant points.
The videos are the bigger focus on the site, obviously since the site is about a video star. The videos here are just scenes rehashed from her porno videos. While I normally knock a site for not being exclusive, this is a little different. You know that Gina is a porn star, and you wouldn't expect much else here. That said, it would be nice to get a few scenes just for the site- but still, I can't complain too much. The videos page has five sets per page, among several pages. Each set is given eight thumbnails, with six being smaller ones, and two bigger ones as well. You then have the option to check out the videos, or to go to a pictures page with screenshots. The videos are split up into clips as WMVs, or as MPG or WMV full scene downloads. You also have the low resolution options of 3pg, MPG, Real Video, or WMV.
The videos look pretty good. Keep in mind, these are commercially available videos, so the professionalism of the videos is quite high. On top of that, the transfer to online hasn't decreased the quality that much. Overall, everything works and fits nicely. You can full screen the videos without much loss of quality- it ends up looking really good here. My only real complaint about the videos is that they did seem to take a little bit longer to download, even though the file sizes weren't anything extraordinary. But that is something I can handle if the quality is high, and they do a good job here.
Outside of the screenshots of the videos, they also have a nice pictures section here for Gina. These are ultimately still hardcore action shots, which disappointed me a little bit. I would have liked the pictures to take a bit more of a look at Gina as a beautiful desirable woman and showcased her in more solo sets. Nevertheless, the pictures section has an absolutely excellent quality picture. It is good because you get Gina captured in pictures, which is a little more rare, although she has been in many magazines as well. I would say that this is a decent little addition to the already good site!
As far as a single model site goes, this did exceed my expectations. Let me say first off that my expectations weren't all that high due to this being a porn stars site. Usually, those are content heavy, but not very personal. I was very happy to see the blog, where she does tend to write alot! There is also a forum where Gina answers questions and contributes quite a bit. So there is quite a bit more personality to the site than I initially expected, and that is a good thing for me!
At the time of review, there were a total of 45 sets of video content, with 15 picture sets. Overall, there was a decent amount of content. The site is updated on a weekly basis, and on top of that is part of a much bigger network, so the value factor is pretty high.
