| Review of Kristina Blue:
For a while, it was quite trendy to spell a name improperly. I mean, look at all the different 80's bands that did it. Ratt, Def Leppard, everything had a little bit of a twist. Then, into the nineties, a lot of girls names took up this trend. You were no longer talking to Tracey, you were talking to Traci. We used to call it the stripperation of names. Well, if a name was every strippified- it would be the one here. Kristyna Blue also modified a normal name a bit- and made it sound hot and sexy- just like her!
Kristyna Blue is a single model site with a focus on Kristyna. At this point, I usually like to describe the girl who is being featured in the site. Kris is a very sexy, Czech model. She really has the Czech look to her, and it is more noticable in some sets versus others. She has reddish hair, and is the same age as me. Well, she will be the same age as me in about two hours when I have my birthday! She just had hers, and we are both 29 this month. She looks a little younger, however, and is very sexy. Her body looks really nice, slim and toned. Overall, it's a nice girl to have a site about!
When you sign into the site, you get a nice introduction page. There is a black and white, sexy photo of Kristyna. There is a little introduction to Kris, a nice little blurb about the site and herself in general. On the other side of the photo, there is a listing of the latest news. Not the latest updates, but the latest news. The banner shows four different pictures of Kristyna, all very sexy. You can use this to select the area of the site you want to go to. Your options are: Biography, Pictures, Video, Live Chat, Journal, and Forum. The first, most obvious thing to check out is the pictures.
The pictures here are quite good. Kristyna has a nice focus on modelling, moreso than on trying to be too pornographic. That makes this site lean towards the softcore side, but at the same time it is not completely softcore. The pictures are 1024x768, and are shot pretty well. The pictures come across clear and crisp. The thumbnail galleries are done well, with there not being too many shots that look alike, yet logically progressing the set. Overall, this is a photo page to be proud of.
The pictures, while focused on Kristyna, are not always of just her. She does have some friends who have some sets on the site as well. Altogether, there are a total of around 67 sets of content. Some of these have fewer pictures than others, but they all have similar quality to them. Nice job with the pictures all around, nothing reaches out and grabs you- but it is competantly done throughout.
Moving into the videos, this is not really a focus of the site. However, they have put together a handful of very nice videos for us to enjoy. There are only nine videos here on the site, with six of them being high resolution and the other three being low resolution. These are your standard single model type movies- watch the girl in different outfits moving around, posing and stripping. They definitely don't break any new ground. However, the videos are nicely presented and competantly done.
The other extras presented here are pretty nice. The live chat gives you a great chance to get a little bit closer to this beautiful woman. The journal is really nothing special, but provides a little more insight and a few extra pictures of Kristyna. The forum seems to be in the startup stages, but if enough people join in, this could be a great extra for the site.
We already talked about the content levels of both the pictures and the video sections of the site. It would be a stretch to say that there is a lot of content here. The pictures side is definitely beefier, and adequate. The videos seem to be the afterthought here, but still done well. One of my biggest problems with the site is that it doesn't really give you any timestamps or an update schedule for either the pictures or the videos. You find yourself asking if the site is updated, and when. I don't like asking those questions, I think it should be public knowledge.
Conclusion
Overall, Kristyna Blue's site shows some promise. The quality is there, and Kristyna is a good looking girl. However, with a lack of an update schedule, and only a handful of videos, I'm not sure about the site at the same time. It's a nice start, but I guess the biggest question is where they are going to go from here.
