| Review of UK Road Trips:
This site was just dreadfully slow for me- you know me, I don't review based on speed, but this one was silly. If you dont have these problems or want to remove the comments i understand but that was the only thing holding back this decent site!
I love roadtrips. I even took a job that is pretty much a gigantic roadtrip, because I love them so much. I like going to new places and seeing new things. I like the idea that I am far from home and am free from many of the worries there. At the same time, most of my roadtrips are missing one cool element: sex. I would love to be able to shag me some women on these trips as well. Unfortunately, that just doesn't happen in my world!
So of course, I must open a gateway to a world where that does happen. UK Roadtrips is all about traveling to different areas of the UK and meeting nice women there. Maybe I should move my location base. I thought the idea of the site was pretty cool. This doesn't make for an ultra-cool or ultra-original theme, but it is at least solid. It is way more effective than if they put the videos up saying "guys and girls, here we go" so I think that they did a nice job in this regard.
When you sign into UK Roadtrips, you get a page with the latest updates listed. There is one bigger picture from the action of each set. The problem here is that these pictures are not too effective as previews. There are like five or so I peep right now that you can't see the girls face in the preview. I've never been a fan of one picture previews, anyway. Throughout the site, there are no sections outside of this main page where you scroll through the one picture previews, so throughout the entire process of previews is a little off.
UK Roadtrips is mainly focused on videos, so let's take a look. From the front page, you follow a link that says play video. Now, that verbiage is a little misleading, as it doesn't play the video. Instead, it takes you to another page of segments. Here, you get the video in segments. Most of the sets have three of them. You have the video options of low, high, and full screen. There is also a link for pictures I never really noticed before. At this point I will also note that this guy who is holding the camera and plastered around the site elsewhere looks like a former, gay co-worker of mine. Who knew about this secret secondary life!
The videos are all WMVs and the full screen video quality is what I downloaded. These videos look pretty good when you play them. They are clear and run crisp. I'm actually very pleased with the quality here. I would have preferred the videos to be in one segment. I also found, in some of the videos, that the clips seemed to run erratic. Maybe because I was fast forwarding like I always do, but some of it seemed like rehash. I don't know, its hard to explain.
My biggest problem here was the actual slowness of the server. It took forever to download a segment of video. We are talking about a half hour for a 200MB video on a super-fast cable connection. I thought this was pretty bad. Also, it seemed difficult to download more than one video at a time. That is my biggest complaint here. There is also a ridiculously short timeout on the site, so it seemed like I had to log back in after downloading each segment. The second is that every video is named "clip.wmv" so if you are downloading automatically, you have a bunch of clip.wmvs on your pc. I don't mind that if there are full videos, but with segments, it can get very confusing when watching on playback.
The pictures are so insignificant they might not even warrant their own paragraph, but they'll get one anyways. The pics here are decent, camera shots that look "decent." The biggest downfall is most of the sets don't even have pictures. Those that do, are the rapid-snap type of pictures where it is almost like watching a movie instead of enjoying a picture set. The thumbnails are small and reel-like, so they almost contribute to this theme.
The girls on UK Roadtrips are amateur, normal looking girls. Sometimes they can be very hot and pretty, and other times they are not so much so. I would say the ratio of hot and pretty is definitely higher. I would gladly take a roadtrip to meet any of these beautiful women. The action is a mixture, sometimes one on one, sometimes group sex. They really don't cater to one group here. One set I saw had some peeing, one had some anal, it's pretty much across the board. Fun for all to be had here!
At the time of review, there were a total of 86 sets of content here. Now, some of these roadtrips were split up into several sets, such as "roadtrip to hartfordshire 1 & 2" which pretty much meant that they had the same actors and location, but from what I saw they did end up being different sets. There are no real bonus sites along with UK Roadtrips.
Conclusion
This is a wonderful site with some design flaws. The biggest is the time it takes to download. This is a joke. I've been on the site for four days now and I don't see it getting any better. Those that know me know I don't really review based on this factor, but when its this slow you almost have to, because it definitely hurts your view of the site. The second would be the segmenting. I could probably live more with the first flaw if the second was taken away. But lets do the math- 240 segments at 30 minutes to download a segment would be 120 hours to download everything. The sad thing is- on this site, I would download everything as it is a very good site- make it faster and we can talk.
