| Review of Combat Zone:
Time to enter the Combat Zone! Sounds like the name of an ultimate fighting gimmick or a wrestling match, doesn't it? Well, the only combat that is going on here is a bunch of sperms getting killed by the minute! When deciding for a name for your porn company, you basically need two things. One is that it needs to have a cool sounding name. A real man-like name. You don't see porn companies named Beautiful Sunrise or anything like that. The second thing you need is a logo that will stand out for you. Hell, Combat Zone, I'm not even thinking and I got the logo in my head right now.
Combat Zone is a video site based on the porn company of the same name. This is a DVD download site where you basically can go online, and download older type videos released by this company. Combat Zone is unlike some of the other sites on this network in that have a specific focus. Some are not as specific as others, but at least can be narrowed down. I can't really narrow down much about Combat Zone, but it is still some nice porn.
Jumping into Combat Zone, you are given a page that shows you the best of Combat Zone. This is pretty much three DVD box covers. Underneath this, there is a listing of some of the girls in Combat Zone videos, each with a little thumbnail. This is pretty cool, but I still think that going to the movies section is the best way to check out the content. But we will get into that in a bit. You can also browse the site by video title, category, model, or series. It should be noted that Combat Zone has a lot of series, but only one title per series for the most part.
The videos page gives you box covers. Simply pick the movie you are interested in, and you will be taken to a very nice page. This page will give you the front and the back of the box, details on the DVD, and then highlights each scene with nine awesome thumbnails. You also get some useful information like size and length of the videos. This is pretty much anything you could want from a video site, especially one of this nature. Click on the video scene you are interested in, and you can download either a small sized or a big version of the video in WMV.
The quality of the videos here is pretty great. They weigh in at a hefty 2000k for the bigger versions of the video. That can lead to some pretty hefty file sizes at some points. I just saw a video that was over 600mb, wow! These are all full videos as well. Needless to say, this is very broadband friendly. Back to the videos, they look excellent at full screen, a great quality throughout all of the videos. These are also professionally made porn videos, so they have some really nice camerawork and look really good altogether as a package.
There are two kinds of pictures on the Combat Zone. There are some screenshots of the videos, as well as a section dedicated to some high quality still shots. The still shots are really good looking, and have some of the models shown in a different light. One minute, two penises in the butt, next minute, some beauty photos! I dig it. Overall, you're not going to sign up for the pictures, but they are a worthy section to the site.
As I've alluded to, Combat Zone is a DVD company that offers commercial porn if you go into a porn store. With that said, you are getting some unoriginal content here. However, unless you own these actual DVDs, I don't think you'll have seen this before on the internet. You also get the slicker porn production, and the more professional looking porn stars. It all comes with the territory.
At the time of review there were a total of 17 DVDs on site. While that might be a little tame compared to its network counterparts, we are still talking about close to a hundred scenes of content available right now. Factor in the huge, awesome network, and its a killer deal.
Included in this network are Peter North DVD, Silvia Saint, Devils Film, Silverstone DVD, Combat Zone and White Ghetto Films. Overall, this is a network of sites like this one- with downloadable DVDs and not a lot of hassle. Overall, this is excellent, and a great entry into the porn fold! I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to get a great amount of porn, albeit commercially available stuff!
Conclusion
Combat Zone has some nice porn included within. I think the biggest difference between this and its sister sites is that Combat Zone really doesn't have a huge focus group in the videos right now. They are definately nice videos, but they just seem mishmoshed. But hey, I'll take these videos mishmoshed over a lot of other sites, and this is still one of the best buys on the net!
