| Review of Gorilla Gras:
What could possibly end my biggest porn slump of my life? I mean, it seems for the past few months I haven't found anything to my liking. Lesbian stuff, doesn't do it anymore. Gorilla Gras is a site that I would classify in the humorous area of pornography. There is a guy going around dressed as a gorilla with a huge cumming dong that he shoots all over. This idea has been done before, and done pretty well. But what Gorilla Gras adds is the whole Girls Gone Wild type of look. Drunken college girls showing their titties and being sprayed by the Gorilla. It kind of works as a party video, let us see how it works as a porn website.
The design of Gorilla Gras can be described as one thing: simple. When you sign in, you get some mini thumbnails of sets, and links for the world tour on the side. The world tour has four stops. Through the topbar, you can switch between photos and videos. The thumbnails are small and don't give you much of an idea of what is happening from the set, but the videos are so random I don't think any regular thumbnails would have worked. They probably should have gone for a collage of different girls and activities to give a feel for the entire set. You can go through the world tour of the different places the gorilla has been, including Lake Havasu, New Orleans, and Key West. There really isn't a whole lot to this site, but simplicity is definately present.
The videos on Gorilla Gras come as videos split up among several segments for each stop on the world tour. None of the segments really go over six parts. You don't have many options for the videos. You basically get one quality WMV video. Luckily, the quality here is pretty damn good. At 1400k, the videos are pretty good quality. Camerawise, they look very much like the stuff you see advertised along these lines on TV. The only difference being those videos don't have a gorilla with a giant cumming cock!
The pictures here are very good as well. They are 800x532 and they accurately capture the fun spirit of the videos and the action all around. I really can't picture too many of the Gorilla Gras pictures being on a lot of peoples hard drives, but that is just me. A good portion of the pictures are nice quality, good looking still shots. They shy away from the whole quick, blurry snapshot idea that could have easily been a standard here. Overall, I have no complaints here.
Ok, so the pictures and the videos are both solid. What is weak about the site then? Well, my biggest issue was the idea the that entire concept got pretty tired pretty quick. I'm not a big fan of the drunken girl party videos in the first place. Enter a giant gorilla cock, and yes my interest is somewhat piqued, but not for too long. The thing here is that the site is much more a humor site than it is a pornography site. In fact, the tit showing is about the only thing here, and I wouldn't classify it as a porno site.
Now I agree that as a comedy sideshow site, Gorilla Gras does have some entertaining value, and also some good quality to go along with that. However, the site is not packaged with anything else remotely good. The FB Members network is pretty damn boring, with some more spring break videos being the other highlight, along with a site called Erotic Kittens which again is nothing special. Overall, this is just some weak stuff. Throw Gorilla Gras on a site with some nice strong material and I will definately support it. But here, it is just kind of a waste of money, unfortunately. On top of all of this, we are given no notice of update schedules or timestamps or anything like that, and the site also seems terribly outdated.
Conclusion
I just want to reaffirm that while the site does have its high points, there really isn't a whole lot here to warrant a thirty dollar membership. It'd be good for a few chuckles as a network site or as a leased site for sure. But standing on its own, I could not recommend a site like Gorilla Gras.
