| Review of Platinum Indian:
You know, when we are talking about ethnic fetishes, it is so often put into the category of asian or latina. Or subsidaries of those categories. Well, there are some other beautiful women from other areas of the world. Hell, I was thinking of moseying on up to Canada this weekend to get a feel for some of the ultra hot Canadian blondes! But they are all over. I think it sucks that not all women get the absolute attention they deserve. Well, as time goes on, hopefully that will change. One step is to have a site focused on Indian women, and that is exactly what we have here.
Platinum Indian is a site that compiles all kinds of Indian content into one site. Yes, this is a compilation site. I don't think this site has an exclusive bone in its body. But that is fine since the number of Indian sites isn't too huge, I guess the execution will determine the relative worth of the site. Anyways, the theme here is on Indian women. Pretty good theme, but it could be better. Just by saying Indian women, sure that is original, but there should be more to it. It gets by because there is not a lot of Indian sites out there, but it definately could be a lot better as well.
The design of the Indian Members Lounge is simply awesome. They make the site look like an Indian site, with the artwork and coloring and whatnot. They do a really good job at this. This is a very aesthetically pleasing site. However, when you start reading, you see some pretty bad broken English. They wood like to bye any Indian movies you have! What did they do, make a translation through Babelfish? Geez! Anyways, great site design but terrible English! There are also some ads on the bottom for other Indian sites that, while helpful to some Indian fetishists, are still ads and shouldn't be on a members page.
The movies on the site are broken into five different areas. There are Indian DVD Movies, Indian amateur movies, Indian sex movies, Indian masala movies, and Arab sex movies. For each movie page, you get two thumbnails per set of movie. These thumbnails are sometimes good, sometimes bad, it really depends on the type of movie you are looking at. Either way, I feel the way that they are set up is not the best way to get previews of the movies. There is only one video option, and that is full video. Normally I would love that, but with one quality and one option, it doesn't give a lot of choices. And with some of these videos clocking in at 400mb, the lack of options really can affect the site.
The quality on the sites videos is also shaky. Some are great, some are horrible, and some are passable. Some look current, some look old, and some look amateury. I guess when you get a big mixture of stuff, this is what happens. So what the site really lacks is consistency throughout. But even the good videos aren't perfect, and the quality here is pretty lacking when you look at the whole picture.
The pictures don't do a whole lot to add to the site. 320 x 500 pixels was the size of the picture I just looked at, and a lot of the pictures on here are similarly small. They are decent shots, just not too big and not too vivid. They are just terribly unexciting. They have categories for hardcore, lesbian, glamour, and arab. But you will find yourself not too interested in these.
So I guess what we have here is a site with a nice focus, but just not a great site. What it looks to me is that they compiled everything and everything Indian that they could buy or get their hands onto, without regard to putting up a consistent quality or theme. Overall it comes across as just a weak mish-mash. I've seen some strong mish-mashes, but this is not one of them. While the idea is fundamentally sound and they definately stick to the theme, I just was hoping more for some exclusive, well done content and not thrown together excess.
Conclusion
Even if you are a fan of Indian girls, I would hold off for a stronger site. Even the good DVD scenes here I am sure would be available elsewhere, or just buy the DVDs for a better experience.
