| Review of Catalina Cruz:
Wouldn't you like to take a cruise on catalina? Catalina Cruz is a very hot porn model and I know you would. So would I, and many other men out in the world. Now, we might not all have a chance at taking the cruise on Cruz, but we can all fantasize about it with her solo website, Catalina Cruz. I can't think of a cute opener for this review, so I guess we can just talk about Catalina some. Catalina is a woman who changes her looks quite a bit. Some days she will be a stunning blonde, and others she will be a stunning brunette. She is never one to shy away from changing her look. There is one consistent factor, however. And that is that she is always stunning. So now we can take a look at her site and see if it is as stunning as she is.
When you first sign into the Catalina Cruz members page, you get a page whose design I just didn't care for. Let me add an asterik to that by saying it is not really a bad design. I just thought it was a little weak. The top has thumbnails for different sections of the site, each with a little thumbnail that looked like a little tv screen. Then there is a big banner with some more website links, and then some more little tv's. My problems with this were twofold. One was that the site links were kind of all over the place and unfocused. For example, there are three different links to get to the fantasy board. Sure, it is a great board, but still, three links to it? The other is that the site just looks a tad bit bland, kind of like a junkier site than it actually is. So really, it's not the best design ever, but it could also be a lot worse. Luckily you can easily find what you need to find, and let's take a look at the actual content of the site now.
I would say that the site focuses more on videos than on pictures, although there is a good mix. But we will look at the videos first. You have your choice of the action here. There is a seperate section for boy-girl videos, girl-girl videos, and solo videos, amongst others. We will focus on these for now. When you pick a section to go to, you get a taller thumbnail for each set that kind of gives you a preview of what you are to see here. When I say kind of, that is because the previews aren't really all that good. Sure, if you love Catalina, you will definately want to download them all. But the one random thumbnail preview system is never one that I like. When you pick a set, you are not given any other additional previews. Instead, you just get a page where you can pick your download. Your options are simply high resolution or low resolution videos in either Windows Media Player or Quicktime format.
The highest quality videos here really vary in sizes, but for the most part they are all pretty good looking. There might be some slight pixelation at full screen, but really good video for the most part. The only real issue here is consistency. Some of the older and non-Catalina pictures are made at a much low bitrate and there is just not a consistent quality throughout this site unfortunately. That is the biggest kicker here. The videos run a little short, so you will rarely get a video over 100mb. That is nice for the retention on your harddrive, but again I would hardly consider any of these videos "full length" even though some of them can run up to ten minutes long.
The photos of Catalina Cruz are split in the same way as the videos. There is a high resolution gallery as well as a low resolution gallery. The high res pictures are great at 683 x 1024 pixels. These look very good. The pictures are different than the movies, therefore you get double the amount of stuff here of Catalina. You can download the entire gallery as a zip file as well, so you don't have to go through the trouble of pointing and clicking. Overall, a solid photo section.
There are a lot of non-Catalina bonuses on this site as well. There is a huge listing of porn stars, and there are lots of pictures and videos of them as well. There is also a live show, a very awesome message board, and a diary. Overall you get a good amount of stuff here. Between the actual Catalina stuff and the bonus stuff, you will be busy for days. But if you come here just for Catalina, you might be a little disappointed with about a medium amount of content.
Conclusion
Overall, this is a nice site but it just is a little bland. There are big time focus issues, and while the site is focused on Catalina I just don't see why a lot of people would stay members. It just seems like they had the right idea, but the execution didn't go along perfectly. I think the site with Catalina's involvement could be greatly improved upon with a design update and perhaps cutting out the banners that you run into throughout the site. What makes this site is Catalina and it's a shame to see that she has chosen to emphasize so much on other models instead of herself. The intention is probably good but it comes off as confusing to someone like me who was just there for her. Having said that, Catalina is nicely involved here with the message board and the weekly live show. She also has a nice solo pictures arcive a smaller girl-girl archive and at the time of review 2 boy-girl sets. If you dig Catalina you'll plow your way through this site and get used to how the layout changes and ignore the ads because she really is a stunning girl to look at.
