| Review of Sicko Games:
Parody sites are few and far between. In fact, many sites try not to parody anything and just end up being flat. Today I review a parody site. It's not a parody of another porn site, however. It is a parody of a TV show. That TV show is called Fear Factor. In fact, Sicko Games used to have that name right in their name. However, the lawyers stepped in, and it is now Sicko Games. And today we are going to review the fear factor of porn, Sicko Games.
Sicko Games is a reality site with a Fear Factor theme. If you are not familiar with the TV show, the concept behind the show is that it is a game show where people do the sickest things imaginable to win the game. Absolutely disgusting things. The site Sicko Games is a porn equivalent of that. However, they don't take things as far in the porn realm as Fear Factor takes in the real life realm. Things can get pretty god damned disgusting on here. I really liked this theme a lot. Not just because I thought it was a strong theme, but also because it is pretty unique. Sure, we can spend our money on the fifty millionth "guy tracks down girl in public place and brings her home" site, or we can check out something rather unique, like this site and this network. Big props for this here.
When you sign into Sicko Games, you first get an introduction to the site and an explanation of the name change. Then we kick right off into the content. You get a portrait of each girl and the names of some of the games she plays. Each episode is split into three chapters. As far as previews, you don't get much here. You can get an idea of what each girl looks like, and the text gives you an idea of what is happening, but there isn't much of a traditional preview. That is a weakness of the site design. The design here is quite plain and could have been a lot better. They could have done a lot more with the design especially considering the theme. Hell, even the logo is kind of plain. They could have done a lot more as I said. However, there is really nothing wrong with this site design. It's just very minimalistic.
The videos are the big focus on Sicko Games. Each chapter here has two video options: WMV and MPG. They are both downloadable, available in only one quality option. You can grab the videos right from the front page, so again you don't have a whole lot of preview space. I guess that kind of fits with the theme, but again, we grow so accustomed to previews that we kind of miss them when they are not around. The games and sex scene are listed in the text so you have an idea, but not a great one. The setup here is simple yet easy to use. You get good information on the videos as well, like speed, size, and length of time elapsed.
The quality here is OK. Most of the videos are 700k and are decent at regular size but somewhat grainy when you full screen them. I don't feel as though quality is as big of an issue here as on some other sites. This site is not just about jack material. It's about entertainment. And with that said, the quality doesn't need to be a hundred percent perfect. At the same time, it can be annoying with the graininess. So I guess its half ok and half not. What I would like to see is just a little more variation with the quality.
The pictures were the biggest surprise on Sicko Games. They had some vidcaps, but they also has some high quality pictures. And the high quality pictures actually looked quite great. Now, these pictures were taken at the same time as the videos. So it's not like there is anything different from the video shoots. Another weird thing is video selection. Even though these were high quality videos, some of them looked like something vidcaps would be done of. Like just a picture of some dudes face. It was weird like that. But I have to give them lots of respect for including such good, high quality pictures on the site.
The girls here on Sicko Games were attractive girls. Maybe not the most 100% beautiful girls in the world, but definately attractive enough. This area is downplayed a little bit, because the focus is off of the sex a bit and more on the action. And the action here is basically a few games per episode, and then a sex scene. Basically, the games fill up time that would be spent on setup in a regular reality video. Maybe a little bit more, but that is a big part of the focus on the action of the games and not the sex.
At the time of review, Sicko Games had five episodes with three chapters each. That might not be a huge amount of content, but this is so unique that I think they can get away with not having a giant database of videos. On top of that, the actual videos they do have are quite long and that helps out a bit. They claim to have more and more updates upcoming but there are no timestamps on the site or anything to back that up. There is a nice little network of likeminded, unique sites attached here.

Conclusion
This site has a lot of creativity, and is very different from other sites out there. I think this is a giant part of the reason it works. While it might lack slightly in several departments, the pure theme pushes this through as a nice little addition to anybodys porn collection.
