| Review of Tony Vidson:
Tony Vidson. Ahh, what a porno site. No theme in either the name or in the actual site. What does that mean? Well, it means that I get to blather here in the intro. Well, I had one blathered out intro all prepared for you. In fact, I had almost an entire review prepared for you. Then what happened? The phone rang. I went to shrink down the window, hit the wrong button, and poof, all of my work gone in two quick seconds. I pitched a gigantic fit, went and got some burgers, and here I am again, talking about Tony Vidson and his lack of a coherent theme.
Tony Vidson is a video site. Not only is it just a video site, it is a themeless video site. Instead of having a nice theme and a great quality, Tony Vidson has a jumbled up mess of good videos but it just doesn't gel together. The site is melded together by categories. They include blondes, brunettes, redheads, shaved, hairy, small tits, big tits, foot fetish, interracial, bj, first time, girl girl, anal, dp, atm, ptm, mmf, ffm, babe, teen, boy girl, amateur pov, uniform, and dildo. Now that might be impressive, but if you like lots of theme, this is good. But if you are not so worldly, you might not be impressed with the generalities of the site.
The sites biggest weakness is its site design. Let me start by saying the site design is not really bad. It's just that it is not visualized well. Ok, I said theres a ton of categories. That is nice, but the categories overlap way way too much. For example, the same set can be in babe, teen, boy girl, blonde, bj, anal, big tits and shaved. The categories are just too broad. And whats worse, the same videos appear in the different categories. That pretty much means that the videos are hard to view in this mode. If I were webmaster, I would take and make the categories a lot more specific. I would also try to get rid of having the same video in different categories. Hell, I might just get rid of the categories. They are there, but all they do is confuse things. I'd rather have the content easily served. The thumbnails can tell me exactly what is in the set, I can tell if the girl is a blonde, if shes shaved, if shes doing oral, etc etc right from the thumbnails.
The second problem with the site design is the fact that some of the sets just don't work. I mean, they are just on the page and they aren't downloadable or anything. There are also some categories that don't work. Overall, it's just a problem plagued site that could do a lot better. But lets talk actual setup a bit. When you select a category, you get a page with five sets per page. Each set has six thumbnails, four smaller ones and then two bigger ones. These do wonders in getting the site across, but once you click further, you are given a page with 20+ thumbnails that really get the set across good. And then what, you might ask? Click any thumbnail and you get a popup of the videos page. Fundamentally, this site is designed ok. It's just that it doesn't work realistically, and that is the biggest problem.
The videos here are definately the focus. They come in one format, one speed, and all segments. The format is DIVx AVIs and the segments are pretty small. Each video has around seven segments each. The length is around 15 minutes and the size is around 80 MB all together. The worst part about all of this is the amount of segments. That kinda sucked, and I didn't like watching the small segments. On the bright side, these videos downloaded amazingly fast. It seemed like they were done in no time here. I was very pleased with this. But with all of the other problems, there wasn't much too be happy about as this site was still a pain in the butt.
The quality here is pretty good. At full screen, there was a little bit of pixelation but it really wasn't bad. The best part about the videos is that they stayed pretty clear and clean throughout. These really looked like high quality video porn, the type you can buy in the stores. I think they were, actually. But they looked really good. The action was shot really well, and looked pretty damn good. The only problem was with the entire setup, but the videos themselves were done relatively well!
There are no pictures here on Tony Vidson. No vidcaps, no nothing. So anybody looking for pictures, the only ones you get here are thumbnails leading up to the videos.
The girls here were really attractive girls. Some of them were some of the hottest I've seen. There were girls who could easily be hot models out there. It was really amazing how good the quality was here. Not much else to say really, the girls looked really good and they all fir their categories well. The action here is your typical porn stuff. Like I said before, it looked like your regular porn video store stuff. I didn't see anything too special or anything I could even generalize on. It all fit into the categories. Not much else to say here really. This is one of those hard to review sites; its like, porn; duh!
At the time of review, there were a total of 39 sets of working content. Now that is a pretty big number, but when you consider there are 28 categories, you can understand why I have a problem with the site setup! And although there is a lot of content, nothing is really told about an update schedule or anything like that. Furthermore, there are no bonus sites. So I can't really say that this is one of the better deals out there.
Conclusion
Tony Vidson is a video site that has a terrible setup which really holds down its decent content. But with everything said, I would say the bad setup outweighs the good videos. And with these being non exclusive videos without much of a theme, I'd also say that there are a bunch of places you can go for better stuff at the same price. No trial here, so overall, it can be a good site, but I would only join if I was looking for some good video amongst a lot of categories and if I was a fan of studio produced porn.
